The Hartford Community Chorus is a non-auditioned, moderately experienced group of adult mixed voices drawing from the Kettle Moraine area.
The members of the Community Chorus have a desire to increase their own knowledge and understanding of the choral idiom, they strive to capture the beauty of song through the performance of a wide variety of sacred and secular choral literature, and they share their love of singing with the listening community through free concerts in a variety of venues.
New members will be accepted again beginning Tuesday, January 15th, 2013.
No auditions are required, but previous experience is strongly suggested.
There is a $20 registration fee.
Rehearsals every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Rehearsal Hall at the Schauer Center, Hartford. Enter door # 2 to the left of the main entrance.
Our singing seasons run from the third Tuesday in January through the first weekend in May and from the Tuesday after Labor Day to the second weekend in December.
